Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance development
- Oversee engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Support product design, development, and manufacturing process improvements
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to optimize operations and resolve technical challenges
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, safety, and cost reduction
- Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience overseeing engineering teams
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, product development, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficiency with CAD software, engineering documentation, and project management tools
