Design Engineer - Structural - Mi-Tech Services, Inc.

Responsibilities

• Develop calculation submittals
• Develop design and shop drawings
• Support project pursuits and bids through preliminary evaluations and analyses
• Support other engineers
• Communicate and coordinate with design and field teams
• Provide support to senior engineers with any other assigned duties

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 0 to 2 years of experience in the design of temporary works, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects
• Masters degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures preferred
• Successful completion of the FE exam
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and Finite Element Analysis
• Previous construction field experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a quickly changing environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team

Pay

• This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
• Expected Salary Range: $85,000 - $119,000 USD
