Design Engineer, Geostructural - Mi-Tech Services, Inc.
About the role
As a geostructural engineer at Mi-Tech Services, Inc., you’ll design a wide variety of temporary and permanent structures associated with the construction of utility, infrastructure, and heavy civil projects. Your primary job responsibilities include developing calculation submittals, creating design and shop drawings, and supporting project pursuits and bids through preliminary evaluations and analyses. Additional tasks include supporting other engineers, communicating and coordinating with design and field teams, and providing support to senior engineers with any other assigned duties.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 0 to 2 years of experience in the design of temporary works, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects
- Masters degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures preferred
- Successful completion of the FE exam
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and Finite Element Analysis
- Previous construction field experience is a plus
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a quickly changing environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
Skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and Finite Element Analysis

Pay
This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Expected Salary Range: $85,000 - $119,000 USD
