Design Engineer - Remote
We're seeking a Design Engineer to support the design and development of a next-generation semiconductor fabrication facility. This is an opportunity to work on a highly visible project where you'll help transform concepts into real-world manufacturing solutions, collaborating with engineering, construction, and operations teams from design through installation.
Responsibilities
- Develop 2D and 3D layouts for fabrication equipment, facility infrastructure, and utility systems.
- Create semiconductor tool hookup packages and utility routing plans.
- Perform space planning, interference checks, and constructability reviews to ensure efficient facility designs.
- Convert conceptual requirements into detailed engineering drawings and construction-ready documentation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support projects through installation, startup, and commissioning activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, industrial facilities, or a related engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of facility layouts, piping systems, utilities, mechanical infrastructure, or tool installations.
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, NX, Navisworks, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, solve complex engineering challenges, and manage changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and project teams.
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
