Design Engineer - Intern

About the role

Provide design, engineering, and analysis support to other engineers and designers in the development and maintenance of orthopedic implants and instruments.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply engineering acumen to evaluate impact of revisions to technical standards on medical device compliance.
• Create impact assessments for revised technical standards.
• Lead and coordinate the assignment of work to cross-functional team.
• Devise and implement process improvements.
• Provide monthly updates to executive leadership.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Education: Current enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering.
• Experience: Computer aided design software, motivated to take initiative and work effectively in teams, excellent communication and organizational skills.
