Design Engineer II

Role Overview A Design Engineer will join the Sustaining Engineering Team to support existing product lines used in medical, aerospace, and industrial applications. This fully onsite role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges, process change requests, and improve designs. Key Responsibilities Support and maintain current products through technical problem-solving and design improvements.Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and facilitate change requests.Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality teams to enhance product designs.Assist in customer RMA analysis to develop sustainable solutions.Engage with Application Engineering and customers to ensure design solutions meet expectations.Participate in VAVE initiatives to optimize costs.Champion company values such as integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.3+ years of manufacturing or design experience.Strong communication, project management, and data analysis skills.Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA, manufacturing processes, inspection tools, CAD modeling, and design software (preferably Solidworks).Knowledge of quality systems, process improvement tools, and product development lifecycle is advantageous. Additional Requirements Understanding of quality standards such as QS and ISO.Experience with electric motors or precision rotating equipment is preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship. Compensation & Benefits: Salary range from $90,000 to $104,000, with comprehensive health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, tuition assistance, and more.
