Design Engineer I - Utility Infrastructure (New Grad)

About the role

Join ENTRUST Solutions Group as a Design Engineer I and help design overhead and underground electric distribution projects that strengthen and modernize the power grid. You'll support storm hardening initiatives, new residential and commercial construction, solar energy projects, reconductoring, and other utility infrastructure improvements while learning from experienced engineers and growing your career.

Responsibilities

• Scoping, designing, and developing electrical service systems for new customers.
• Customer interaction, scoping, and cost estimation.
• Providing a design package that meets customer needs.
• Making site visits with customers and construction crews to review the scope of the design and discuss project execution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• 0-1 years of relevant work experience in consulting or related field.
• Knowledge of Computer Aided Design or GIS Design (a plus).
• A strong work ethic with a desire to work in a production environment.
