Design Engineer (Electrical)

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to design and develop rugged, high-performance electronics for mission-critical defense applications. The role involves PCB layout, analog/digital circuit design, embedded microcontroller development, and antenna integration, with a focus on RF circuits and antenna design as a plus. The engineer will contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to production and sustainment, including research, testing, and integration of custom embedded systems and communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical circuits, RF receivers, and antennas
• Support product integration, validation, and troubleshooting
• Develop prototypes and coordinate with mechanical engineers
• Document designs and manage configuration processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• Active Secret Clearance and U.S. citizenship
• Strong communication, teamwork, and independent work skills
• Technical expertise in analog/digital design, modeling, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems
• Experience with circuit modeling, PCB fabrication, and diagnostic tools
