Responsibilities

• Complete 2D drawings and layouts for a variety of moderately complex to complex ergonomic and automated tools, including welding fixtures, end-of-arm tooling, automation holding fixtures, prototype tooling, and general assembly tooling.
• Review 3D models for safety concerns, accuracy, and completion.
• Work concurrently on one or more projects of moderately complex scope.
• Collaborate as a productive member on large projects.
• Schedule activities to complete assigned tasks and projects, communicate and document requisite information per established Invio Automation policies and procedures.
• Understand customer needs and apply technical knowledge to identify drawings.
• Demonstrate Engineering professionalism in all activities and provide efficient service to customers.
• Complete release packages, including entering project information into our ERP system.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of NX or SolidWorks required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Ability to explain how and why specific conclusions were reached.

• Ability to learn, understand, and apply new techniques and technologies.
• Requires 1 to 5 years of mechanical 2D detailing and 3D solid modeling experience and proficiency in SolidWorks, NX and/or AutoCAD.
• Associates degree in CAD, drafting, and/or engineering preferred.
