Design Engineer
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop new products and improve existing products
- Use CREO to create 3D models, designs, and engineering drawings
- Lead projects from concept to production release, including prototype development, testing, product BOM creation, and drawing development
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Serve as a product technical expert for production, sales, and service departments
- Manage multiple engineering projects while meeting deadlines, quality standards, and customer expectations
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in product design within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with CREO, Microsoft Office, and other applicable software
- Understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Strong problem-solving skills, communication, and project management skills
- Able to pass pre-employment screening
Preferred Qualifications
- Agriculture or farming background with knowledge of agricultural equipment
- Experience with FEA software
Role Specifics
- First Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, plus required overtime as scheduled
- Primarily office-based with collaboration in production, R&D, and testing environments
- Occasional travel between facilities and field-testing locations
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
