The successful candidate will work on various projects and will be part of a multi-disciplined design team that includes civil engineers, planners, landscape architects, and CADD designers, all under the supervision of an experienced professional engineer.

Responsibilities

• Work on various projects
• Assist/project engineer in the performance of tasks associated with the preparation of various engineering plan submissions, such as roadway design, erosion control, and stormwater management design, site grading and layout design, storm drainage, water & sewer design, as well as site planning
• Prepare drainage area maps
• Compute channel or pipe flows
• Runoff computations
• Storm computation routing
• Vertical curve design
• Sight distance analysis
• Earthwork analysis
• Cost estimating

Requirements

• BSCE or MSCE degree
• EIT Certificate is a plus
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office Suite (MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook)
