Design Engineer

About the role

Support structural designs, work with the module manufacturing facility to develop complete design on seismic, thermal and structural and coordinate structural design with architectural / electrical / thermal / mechanical.

Relevant industries: Structural Engineering / Mechanical Design, Module Manufacturing / Fabrication, Industrial Equipment Manufacturing, Construction / Infrastructure, Power Modules / Data Center Facilities. Focus on candidates with structural design, calculations, and fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical parts, create designs, and provide schematics for structural design aspects of the solution
• Perform static and dynamic calculations
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers on thermal transfer calculations
• Develop welding procedures and inspection specifications
• Develop dimensional test procedures, structural load test procedures and calculations, and quality control during execution
• Support all site modules
• Work with fabrication teams to validate construction processes, welding specifications, and module inspection

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Mechanical/structural design experience
• Proficiency
