Position Summary: Performs multiple assignments of moderate complexity with minimal guidance and oversight. Makes use of processes, standard work, systems and tools. Assignments require application of existing engineering principles. Exercises judgment by identifying risk, providing alternatives and recommending options. Operates independently with occasional guidance from supervisor or other engineers.
Responsibilities
- Develops design concepts for product while working independently or with other engineers.
- Develops designs and specification of products to meet customer expectations as defined in project contracts.
- Develops designs integrating form, fit, function of components of a product
- Utilizes DFA and DFM principals into design recommendations.
- Complete test plans to evaluate products.
- Extracts and analyzes a variety of engineering
