What You'll Do
- Communicate with Customers and Sales to assure accurate design requirements
- Design of magnetic components based on requirements
- Generate quotes for new products, including accurate BOM and labor estimates
- Detail construction steps for the creation of build documents
- Review quotes and manufacturing documents for accuracy
- Create drawings/documentation for Customer use as necessary
- Design and build test fixtures for manufacturing as needed
- Enter and maintain Engineering data in MRP system
- Provide support to India facility as needed
- Provide production engineering support to manufacturing
- Follow company guidelines and policies
- Provide technical and application support to customers
- Other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
- A Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering and/or several years of relevant work experience
- Working knowledge of transformer design principles and applications
What We Value
- Good communication skills and ability to work with others
- Ability to use various Microsoft products (e.g. Excel, Access, Word etc…)
- Use of AutoCAD or other drafting software with 3D modeling knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to work diligently on multiple projects/products
