Design Engineer

Responsibilities

Design and develop 3D models and drawings for custom product requests in the sports construction design space; Specify and design components, sub-assemblies, hardware, and bill of materials (BOM) for projects of varying scales, with support from senior staff; Create and maintain accurate BOMs and part set ups within ERP (Epicor); Contribute to internal continuous improvement initiatives via modeling and drafting support; Coordinate with production staff to clarify design intent and resolve shop-floor issues; Learn and follow established design standards and documentation practices; Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Excellent work ethic within a team-first environment
• Attention to detail with high quality output
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
• Familiar with ERP systems a plus
• Familiar with Steel and Aluminum Fabrication and Machining processes a plus
• Familiar with CAD Software (SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD preferred)

Experience/Education

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or related discipline
• 0-2 years of experience in design, drafting, or fabrication
• Entry level I and mid-career level II positions available. Level is based off experience/knowledge

Pay

Salary Range: $65 85K/annually. The salary range represents the minimum range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill, and education as they relate to the positions qualifications and internal equity. It reflects just one component of our total benefit/rewards package.
