Design Engineer

About the role

Sandis is currently looking for a Design Engineer to join our growing team in Roseville, CA. Our ideal candidate has experience with civil design, permitting, and applicable software applications including stormwater drainage programs and AutoCAD. Our projects will include a diverse array of land development site designs.

Responsibilities

• Aid in all technical aspects of projects and assignments
• Assist with developing improvement plans including rough/finish grading, stormwater management, and utility plans
• Conduct engineering assessments
• Prepare technical engineering reports for internal review
• Coordinate with private, public, and governmental agencies
• Design of domestic and fire water systems
• Assist with material estimates as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• EIT Certification
• PREFERRED: Familiar with AutoCAD
• PREFERRED: Familiarity and understanding of rough and finish grading plans
• PREFERRED: Knowledge of utility systems including sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and water distribution
