Engineered Air is a custom manufacturer of commercial and industrial heating, ventilating and air conditioning units. Engineered Air offers diverse career opportunities in design, manufacturing, technical service, or technical sales. We have manufacturing facilities in De Soto, Kansas, with other Canadian locations in Calgary, Edmonton, and Newmarket. We also have sales offices throughout Canada and the United States.
The training program at Engineered Air is located in De Soto, Kansas. It can last up to two years and includes rotating through various manufacturing and design modules to gain a broad understanding of the company's operations. The program keeps employees updated with the latest technology and developments through ongoing training presentations. This prepares employees for a successful career aligned with their interests and aspirations as well as the company's goals.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of equipment performance data and specifications.
- Detailed mechanical layout of air handling units.
- Special construction details.
- Hydronic or gas piping schematics.
- Electrical wiring schematics.
- Complete description of control sequence of operation.
Qualifications Required
- Mechanical Engineering Degree/Diploma
- Electrical Engineering Degree/Diploma
- HVAC Engineering Technology Degree/Diploma
- Currently attending a mechanical or electrical degree/diploma program.
- Relevant experience would be an asset.
- Related design, production, or service experience will be advantageous but not necessary.
Skills Required
- Ability to accept assignments on short notice and work within strict deadlines is essential.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work in a team environment and have strong people skills.
- The ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
