Design Engineer

About the role

As a Design Engineer at Console, you’ll be responsible for the touches that make our product feel like magic. You will work closely with the product and design teams, and build out the front-end infrastructure that will separate Console from our competitors.

Responsibilities

• Build a smooth and performant agent UX with streaming responses and interleaved UI components
• Design, extend, and own Console's design system
• Find screens, views, and components that could use a bit of animation flair, then dial it in

Requirements

• 4+ years of full-time design or design engineering experience, and a strong grasp on front-end engineering
• Comfortable working and contributing across the entire stack (Typescript/Node/React)
• Obsessed with building incredible product experiences for users, and never happy with "good enough"
