Design Draftsman

Responsibilities
- Create and update drawings used in electrical construction packages (i.e. single lines, wiring diagrams, plan drawings…etc.)
- Work directly with other department personnel to clarify intent of designer and/or engineer sketches
- Maintain supplemental project documentation including cable schedules and vendor cut sheets
- Occasionally perform site visits and other related tasks to meet project needs
- Report to a Supervisor of Design and Documentation and function as an intermediate level draftsman for the electrical design group
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- PREFERRED: Associate degree in Drafting
- Knowledge of drafting principles
- Demonstrated MicroStation and/or AutoCAD proficiency
- Proficiency in drawing and document management systems (ProjectWise & Documentum preferred)
- Work in a team environment as a fully engaged and supporting team member

- Base Salary Range: $30.00 - $35.00 (dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills)
