About the role
The Design/Documentation Engineer is responsible for developing new photonic device technology and supporting existing products. They manage the entire development process from concept to validation, working cross-functionally with departments and external suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process through design reviews, CAD updates, and implementation of changes
- Collaborating on product development in CAD
- Contributing to continuous improvement
- Preparing technical documentation and reports
Requirements
- BSME or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (2020+)
- GDT proficiency
- Experience in manufacturing or quality-controlled environments
Qualifications

- Ability to lift up to 25lbs
