Design / Documentation Engineer

About the role

The Design/Documentation Engineer is responsible for developing new photonic device technology and supporting existing products. They manage the entire development process from concept to validation, working cross-functionally with departments and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process through design reviews, CAD updates, and implementation of changes
• Collaborating on product development in CAD
• Contributing to continuous improvement
• Preparing technical documentation and reports

Requirements

• BSME or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (2020+)
• GDT proficiency
• Experience in manufacturing or quality-controlled environments
