About the role

Health is the health track app for the Gnome desktop. They are looking for an Interaction Design and Visual Design professional to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing designs.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that align with the brand guidelines and user experience goals.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure designs are implemented efficiently and effectively.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in interaction and visual design and apply them to improve the user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Visual Design, or related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
• Strong proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with web technologies and mobile app design is a plus.

Qualifications

• Passionate about creating user-centered designs that enhance the user experience.
• Ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex design problems.
• Understanding of human-computer interaction principles and usability best practices.
• Good understanding of accessibility standards and how they impact design decisions.

Skills

• Proficiency in design software (Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
• Experience with web technologies and mobile app design.
• Strong understanding of interaction and visual design principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
