Compensation range: $85,000 - $100,000 base salary with uncapped commission potential (first 2 years average: $15,000 - $40,000). Supplemental pay includes bonus, car allowance, and expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Present and promote Stonhard/Liquid Elements products and services to architectural, design, and engineering firms within a specific geographic region
  • Work with Design Build construction firms
  • Maintain accurate files and records in Salesforce Automation (SFA) database, including projects and activities
  • Communicate closely with Stonhard Territory Managers, Project Engineers, Market Managers, and Business Development Managers regarding project recommendations, bidding, estimating, and quoting
  • Deliver group presentations to architects, interior designers, and engineers about Stonhard/Liquid Elements products and services
  • Meet or exceed Stonhard’s minimum activity standards for quotes and orders
  • Contact a minimum of 10-15 clients in-person per week
  • Enter a minimum of 5 new projects per week in Salesforce

Requirements

  • 2+ years of industry experience in a similar sales, design, or equivalent role
  • Spend a minimum of 4 days per week in the field with customers
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities and implement solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, organization, and planning skills
  • Flexibility to work in a self-directed, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to organize and prioritize activities
  • Computer literacy with experience using Salesforce.com and Microsoft 365
  • Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear
  • Frequently stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to physically transport sample case and literature (approximately 40 lbs.)
  • Reliable transportation (driving time in a typical day: 30%)
  • Must wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, and high-visibility vest on worksites; may also require ear protection, respirators, safety harnesses, and specialized protective clothing depending on the task
