Responsibilities
- Presents and promotes Stonhard/Liquid Elements products and services to architectural, design, and engineering firms within a specific geographic region.
- Works with Design Build construction firms.
- Maintains accurate files and records, including Salesforce Automation (SFA) database with projects and activities.
- Communicates closely with Stonhard Territory Managers, Project Engineers, Market Managers, and Business Development Managers regarding project recommendations, bidding, estimating, and quoting.
- Gives group presentations to architects, interior designers, and engineers about Stonhard/Liquid Elements products and services.
- Meets or exceeds Stonhard’s minimum activity standards for quotes and orders.
- Contacts a minimum of 10-15 clients in-person per week.
- Enters a minimum of 5 new projects per week within Salesforce.
Requirements
- 2+ years of industry experience in similar sales, design, or equivalent role.
- Spend a minimum of 4 days per week in the field with Stonhard customers.
- Ability to proactively identify opportunities and implement solutions.
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, organization, and planning skills.
- Flexibility to work in a self-directed, rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to organize and prioritize activities.
- Computer literacy with experience using Salesforce.com and Microsoft 365.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- Requires close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to physically transport sample case and literature (approximately 40 lbs).
- Must possess reliable transportation (driving time in a typical day: 30%).
- Requires wearing a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, and high-visibility vest on worksites. Depending on the task, may also require ear protection, respirators, safety harnesses, and specialized protective clothing.
