Design and Analysis Engineer 2

About the role

This role involves the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements. The position requires designing hardware, software, and interface specifications, as well as testing and validating system designs to meet operational and functional standards. The engineer will also assist in monitoring supplier performance, solve problems with fielded hardware and software, and research technology advances.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Design hardware, software, and interface specifications.
• Test and validate systems to ensure they meet operational and functional requirements.
• Assist in monitoring supplier performance for system integration and compliance.
• Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
• Research specific technology advances for potential application to business needs.

Requirements

• Experience with Hardware in the loop testing.
• Familiarity with configuration management, 1553 data bus, and 429 data bus.
• Knowledge of hardware auditing or audit processes.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position in Oklahoma City. The work schedule follows a 9x80 schedule. The candidate must be willing to support a second shift on occasion.
