About the role

Since 1918 Schimberg Co. has served as a family-owned pipe, valve, and fitting supplier. With seven locations across the Midwest, we serve a diverse list of industrial and commercial customers. We are adding a warehouse worker to our Des Moines location.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload materials by hand or forklift
• Stock material into inventory
• Pull and stage orders for delivery
• Load and secure flatbed trailers for delivery
• Auxiliary walk-in customer service at our counter

Requirements

• Forklift experience preferred
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50lbs regularly, up to 100lbs occasionally
• On your feet, walking, climbing ladders, lifting and moving material by hand or forklift throughout the day

Pay

Salary: $18 - $21 per hour

Schedule

This is a full-time opportunity working Monday-Friday. Start time between 7am-8am, with overtime as needed.
