About the role

Schimberg Co., a family-owned pipe, valve, and fitting wholesale distributor with locations across the Midwest, is seeking a warehouse worker for its Cedar Rapids location. Founded in 1918, the company serves a diverse range of industrial and commercial customers.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload materials by hand or forklift
• Stock material into inventory
• Pull and stage orders for delivery
• Load and secure flatbed trailers for delivery
• Absorb walk-in customers at our counter

Requirements

• Attention to detail
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs occasionally
• On your feet, walking, climbing ladders, lifting and moving material by hand or forklift throughout the day

Pay

$18 - $21 per hour

Schedule

This is a full-time opportunity working Monday through Friday. Start time is between 7am-8am, with overtime as needed.
