Dermatology Physician Assistant

Location: LaGrange, GA & Athens, GA Areas Job Description We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dermatology Physician Assistant Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform complete and accurate patient histories and review medical records to develop comprehensive assessments of patients' medical status.Order and interpret appropriate laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies based on the patient's condition and clinical needs.Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and accurately document pertinent findings in appropriate medical records.Evaluate patient information to establish medical diagnoses and develop appropriate treatment plans.Initiate treatment, provide medical care, and refer patients to appropriate healthcare facilities, specialists, physicians, or community resources when necessary.Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment and make appropriate adjustments to the plan of care.Provide patients with clear instructions and guidance regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care. Perform or assist with routine laboratory and therapeutic procedures, including: Collection of specimens for bacteriological and viral culturesSubcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous injectionsDebridement and care of superficial woundsSuture removalAdministration of local anesthesiaIncision and drainage of superficial skin infections Perform Or Assist With Surgical Procedures, Including Pre-operative and post-operative patient careSurgical assistanceWound debridementIncision and drainage of abscessesBiopsiesWound closures.Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient documentation.Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with applicable healthcare privacy requirements.Treat patients, physicians, staff, visitors, and other members of the healthcare team with dignity and respect.Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Licensure Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of practice is required. Education Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required.Diploma or equivalent educational credential as applicable.
