About the Role
We are seeking a Dermatology Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology care in Monterey, CA.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients through medical histories and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage common dermatologic conditions.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform dermatologic procedures within training, competency, and scope of practice, including:
- Biopsies
- Cryotherapy
- Excisions
- Wound care
- Injections
- Provide cosmetic treatments based on experience and training, which may include:
- Neuromodulators/Botox
- Dermal fillers
- Laser treatments
- Chemical peels
- Other aesthetic procedures
- Educate patients regarding skin conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with patients.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using an electronic medical record system.
Qualifications
- Current PA-C or APRN credential with the appropriate state licensure.
- 2+ years of dermatology experience preferred.
- Strong candidates with relevant clinical backgrounds may also be considered based on their skills and overall fit.
- Experience with medical, surgical, and/or cosmetic dermatology.
- Cosmetic procedure experience is highly desirable.
- Strong patient communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
