Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of dermatologic conditions
- Perform dermatologic procedures consistent with training and experience
- Provide aesthetic consultations and treatments while helping patients achieve their skincare goals
- Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and preventative care
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care
- Foster strong patient relationships through compassionate, patient-centered care
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, clinical excellence, and customer service
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of dermatology experience required
- Experience in both medical dermatology and aesthetic services strongly preferred
- Ability to independently evaluate, diagnose, and manage dermatology patients
- Experience performing dermatologic procedures
- Strong communication and patient relationship-building skills
- Excellent bedside manner and commitment to patient-centered care
- Self-motivated, organized, and team-oriented
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and accountability
- Licensure/Certifications/Education: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, Active Virginia license or ability to obtain prior to start date, Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority, if applicable, Current BLS certification
