Job Description
The ideal candidate is a clinically confident dermatology PA or NP who enjoys high-volume general dermatology, values efficiency, and is committed to providing compassionate, thorough care. This provider will evaluate and treat a wide range of dermatologic conditions while working closely with experienced dermatologists, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general dermatology care for new and established patients.
- Diagnose and manage common and complex dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, warts, lesions, and skin cancer concerns.
- Perform appropriate dermatologic procedures within scope of practice and experience.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, prevention, skin health, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with physicians and care team members to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and support a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
- Current Connecticut PA or APRN license, or ability to obtain licensure.
- Dermatology experience required; general dermatology experience strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working in a busy, productive clinical setting.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach to care.
- Able to work independently while collaborating with supervising physicians and the broader care team.
