About the role
We are seeking a friendly, driven, and hard-working medical assistant to join our Bronx locations. This position requires weekend flexibility and must be able to work between the hours of 8:45 am to 7:00 pm (start/end time may change depending on site).
Responsibilities
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Greeting patients and providing initial assessments
- Maintaining patient records and updating medical history
- Managing insurance claims and billing
- Assisting with administrative tasks
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Detail-oriented and comfortable multi-tasking
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Full-time availability with some weekend availability
Qualifications
- Dermatology experience preferred
- eClinicalWorks experience preferred
Skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
