QualDerm Partners is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team in Monroe, NC. We deliver outstanding skin and aesthetics wellness services, specializing in dermatology, skin cancer treatment, cosmetics, and plastic surgery. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by obtaining vital signs and detailed medical histories
• Assist physicians during examinations and dermatologic procedures by providing necessary support and equipment
• Perform basic laboratory tests and manage specimen collection and handling
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Schedule patient appointments and facilitate efficient communication within the practice
• Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and effective skincare routines
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with appropriate medical supplies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred
• Experience working as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical healthcare environment is highly desirable
• Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly related to dermatology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information professionally
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and common office software applications is an advantage
