About the role

A Medisca Partner, LP3 Network is seeking a Dermatology Independent Consultant to facilitate accredited educational seminar programs in North America on pharmaceutical compounding for dermatology.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate (i.e., present) accredited educational seminar programs in North America (United States and Canada).
  • Impart expert knowledge, insights, and practical applications in pharmaceutical compounding through presentations and review of seminar content.
  • Co-develop seminar content and other educational material with LP3 Network.
  • Create slide content comprising evidence-based material, case studies, and learning assessments.
  • Develop accompanying seminar material such as handouts and practice aids.
  • Provide feedback on LP3-generated seminar material and support the co-development of LP3 Network educational offerings.
  • Participate in regular facilitator feedback sessions and attend networking and informational sessions.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine, Bachelor of Pharmacy, or Doctor of Pharmacy degree is required; other advanced degrees in sciences may be considered.
  • At least five (5) years of practice experience in dermatology.
  • Knowledge and experience with pharmaceutical compounding.
  • Previous experience facilitating or developing pharmacy practice courses is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and engaging skills to enhance participant understanding.
  • Understanding of current United States or Canadian practice standards, and FDA or Health Canada regulatory standards.
  • Professional alliance with a pharmacy board or medical board.
  • Proficiency and comfortability in online technology and facilitating virtually over 1 or 2 days.
  • Ability to travel for in-person events within major markets (USA, CAN, AUS and EU, others).

Qualifications

  • Licensed pharmacist or qualified prescriber.

Skills

  • Expertise in pharmaceutical compounding.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.
  • Understanding of regulatory standards.

Benefits

Compensation varies based on license type and experience, ranging from $100 to $200 per hour.

Pay

$100 - $200 per hour
