Role and Facility Information

The Fraser Health Authority is seeking a consulting Dermatologist to provide specialist Dermatology care to the communities of White Rock & Delta. The Dermatologist will primarily serve the private community and outpatient setting, while also providing consulting services to inpatients at Peace Arch Hospital (PAH) and Delta Hospital (DH). Additionally, the Dermatologist will be expected to obtain a Clinical Faculty appointment with the University of British Columbia, supervising, mentoring, and teaching medical trainees.

Pacific Arch Hospital is a 188-bed hospital in White Rock, BC, offering medical, surgical, acute geriatric, obstetrics, palliative, psychiatric, and telemetry services, as well as 24/7 emergency services with over 53,000 visits annually. It has completed an Emergency Department expansion and upgrades project that includes five upgraded perioperative suites (operating rooms) and a new Medical Device Reprocessing department.
Delta Hospital is a 58-bed community hospital offering medical, surgical daycare, outpatient chronic disease management clinics, extended care unit, palliative care, and 24/7 emergency services with over 34,000 visits annually.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must hold full FRCPC certification and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
