About the Role
We are seeking a Dermatology Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice to deliver patient care, mentor residents, and contribute to teaching, research, and clinical services within a collaborative academic department. This role involves medical and surgical dermatology practice with optional procedures and cosmetic services.
The position offers an 80% clinical, 10% academic, and 10% administrative focus, with a Monday-Friday schedule and minimal overnight contact. The department has strong expertise in complex dermatology, Mohs surgery, pediatric dermatology, and gene therapy.
Responsibilities
- Supervise residents and participate in conferences, lectures, and grand rounds
- Manage a fixed patient volume and build subspecialty clinics
- Pursue research interests and scholarly activity
- Utilize Epic and ambient documentation supported by medical assistants and residents
