Position Overview

We are seeking a Deputy Survey Project Manager to lead transformative transportation geospatial infrastructure projects in our Dayton, Cincinnati, or Columbus offices. The ideal candidate will assist in project management, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build lasting client partnerships.

What You Will Do

  • Project Leadership: Assist in project management, prepare scopes of work, and manage project budgets. Participate in scoping meetings, coordinate planning, scheduling, and data development processes, and resolve schedule and budget challenges.

  • Team Collaboration: Analyze project resource needs, work with internal teams to create detailed scopes, budgets, and schedules, and assist in developing project deliverables. Provide oversight, reporting, and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Technical Expertise: Perform QA/QC for boundary surveys, review and QC mapping deliverables, and assist with survey report preparation and legal description creation. Assist in managing and executing various types of surveys using conventional and advanced technologies.

  • Client Relationship Management: Identify opportunities for client expansion, act as technical expert, and foster repeat business by ensuring client satisfaction and delivering quality projects. Develop strategies to engage with Ohio DOT and other stakeholders.

What You Will Bring

  • Licensure/Certification: LSIT Certification required, Ohio PLS a plus.

  • Experience and Proficiency: 10+ years in the Survey/Geospatial industry, 3+ years managing survey/geospatial transportation tasks, Bachelor's Degree required, ODOT project experience preferred, proficient in surveying techniques and geospatial technologies, working knowledge of industry-standard software.

  • Other Requirements: Ability to travel, pre-employment verification, drug screening, and satisfactory driving record required.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay Range: $87,100 - $108,900 USD.
