• Performs visual checks at public entrances
• Operates walk-through and hand-held metal detector devices
• Checks the interior and exterior of buildings daily

• Responds to disturbances/security issues on County property

• Interacts effectively with County employees and users of County facilities
• Affords assistance to visitors with building information and directions

• Assists in maintaining law and order

• Performs other deputized duties as required during working hours
