Full time position available

Responsibilities

• Leading the school’s wellbeing and case management frameworks to support positive student outcomes
• Building strong, trusting relationships with students and coordinating individual support strategies to address barriers to learning and engagement
• Collaborating with teachers, youth workers, and external services to provide holistic support and improve student attendance, wellbeing, and achievement
• Sustaining and leading school staff through mentoring, team meetings, professional development, and a student-centred approach to service delivery
• Assisting the Principal with school operations, compliance, and strategic priorities, including deputising when required and overseeing key administrative processes and student records

Requirements

• Qualified and hold a current QLD Teachers Registration
• Significant demonstrated experience in providing education and support to marginalised young people
• Knowledge or training in trauma-informed practice, restorative practices or behaviour supports
• Demonstrated experience in leading and supervising staff to ensure quality service, team spirit, and effective time management of resources within a secondary school environment
• Strong organisational skills, time management and record keeping
• Possession of a valid Driver’s Licence
• Hold a current Blue Card Exemption
