Deputy Manager (Finance & Accounts)

About the role

Lavender Food & Bakery is seeking a full-time finance professional to manage financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations across its Bangladesh operations.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly financial / Profit and Loss statements.
• Ensure timely closure of book of accounts on a quarterly, half yearly and annual basis.
• Maintain relationship with the Banks for inculcating new finance, suppliers' payment, reconciliation of expenditure, all types of payments and receivables.
• Keeping update of regular Income Statement, Ledger, Journal and Balance-Sheet of the concern in a synchronized manner.
• Coordinate with internal auditors, external auditors and relevant departments of the concerns.
• Review of monthly VAT/Tax returns and challans.
• Review TDS calculations and ensure timely payment of all payments supported by justified vouchers & instruments.
• Responsible for maintaining liaison with VAT, AIT, Custom Authorities and relevant Autonomous Bodies of Food & Bakery Business.
• Forecast daily, weekly and monthly inventories of Raw Materials followed by analyzing regular sells-trend that would safe-guard the excess production & return of surplus products from customers end.
• Determine and advise periodical Product-Pricings in line with proper customer and market segmentation relevant to profitable financial planning.
• Maintain compliance at all levels for Finance and Accounting reporting system of the concern.
• Maintain seamless communication with supply-chain department, sales administration department and relevant department to fetch financial and accounting data's for flawless reporting of managerial finance and accounts.
• Other responsibilities assigned by the Senior Management time to time.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years
• Education: Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting
