What You’ll Do
- Edit copy and contribute ideas for story coverage
- Write real-time spot news and longer pieces for the weekly magazine and IFRe.com
- Collaborate with a small, experienced team of reporters who have unique access to market leaders and decision-makers in US capital markets
What We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge of US bond markets
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to cultivate contacts
- Think analytically and write with clarity and impact
- 3–5 years’ experience in financial markets and/or business journalism
- PREFERRED: Managing reporters, assigning stories, motivating staff and editing copy
- Overseeing day-to-day operations of a credit desk
- Driving coverage of breaking US credit market news (deals, industry trends, key people)
- Explaining complex topics in an accessible way

Compensation/Benefits
- The anticipated base salary for this position is $98,300 - $163,800.
- LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits.
- In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”).
- Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage.
- Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
