Deputy County Attorney: General Legal Services Division

Description of Duties

This is a professional position in the field of municipal law located in the County Department of Law. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of a higher-level attorney. Supervision is not generally a responsibility of this class, but may occur in certain rare instances. Does related work as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• The attorney(s) must be duly licensed to practice law in the State of New York.
• The ideal candidate(s) will have at least three years of experience in municipal law or general corporate practice.
• The attorneys(s) must have the ability to work well with judges, lawyers, court administrators, and other individuals within the court system.

Salary

$87,000 - $125,000 annually based on experience
