Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the CFO's key partner and second-in-command across financial, operational, and strategic initiatives.
- Take ownership of projects and responsibilities currently hitting the CFO's desk and drive them through completion.
- Lead and develop the finance team, establishing accountability and ensuring priorities and deadlines are met.
- Identify gaps in accounting and financial processes and implement sustainable improvements.
- Analyze financial results, costs, margins, and profitability to identify issues and opportunities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, operational analysis, executive reporting, and special projects.
- Partner across the organization to resolve financial and operational issues and improve business performance.
Ideal Candidate
- Progressive finance leadership experience at the Controller, Director of Finance, VP Finance, or similar level.
- Strong accounting, FP&A, and operational finance foundation.
- Mechanical engineering or manufacturing and cost accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Prominent ability to lead teams while remaining highly hands-on.
- Strong Excel, ERP, financial analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive projects to completion.
- Comfortable challenging assumptions, holding others accountable, and improving processes.
