Responsibilities
- Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements in accordance with customer specifications and technical guidance
- Troubleshoot technical issues, identify faults, and determine corrective actions for electrical and electromechanical systems
- Perform repair, assembly, and testing of components and systems in accordance with technical manuals and procedures
- Support diagnostics using built-in test equipment (BITE), automated test systems, and standard electronic test equipment
- Conduct technical training and product briefings for internal teams, customers, and stakeholders
- Support evaluation of system performance and recommend corrective or improvement actions
- Affirm proper handling of electrical components in accordance with ESD and safety procedures
- Support documentation of maintenance actions, test results, and technical findings
Requirements
- Must possess a current, in-scope Secret security clearance
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Depot, military, OEM, or field maintenance experience
- IPC 610/620 certification (or equivalent soldering/assembly experience)
- Experience using hand tools and standard electronic test equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of ESD control procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot, isolate faults, and implement corrective actions
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform hands-on technical work
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Must be able to work on-site in a depot environment
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC/WHMA-A-620, MIL-DTL-22520, NASA-STD-8739, or ANSI/ESD S20.20 familiarity
- IPC A-610 Class 2 or Class 3 certification
- Experience working with aerospace, missile, or defense hardware systems
- Experience troubleshooting circuit card assemblies (CCA) or electromechanical systems
- Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters
- Experience with built-in test equipment (BITE) or automated diagnostic systems
- Experience operating material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, etc.)
- Formal military or commercial technical maintenance training
