Deposit Operations Representative

Major Duties

  • Performs a wide range of duties related to deposit accounts, including processing NSF items, stop payments, account maintenance, and recordkeeping functions.
  • Ensures accuracy and compliance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Processes wire transfers, ACH files, returned items, cash letter adjustments, levies, and garnishments.
  • Reconciles general ledger and correspondent bank accounts; researches discrepancies and makes correcting entries as needed.
  • Responds to inquiries, research requests, and operational issues from both customers and employees.
  • Maintains strong internal communication to resolve issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Supports debit card maintenance, dispute processing, remote deposit verification, and E-Corp system processing.
  • Affords assistance in maintaining overnight funds position and reserve requirements.
  • Ensures all transactions follow bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Completes verifications and maintains documentation to support audit and compliance needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in data processing, accounting, or financial services preferred.
  • Experience with banking software systems or similar technology is beneficial.
