Deployment Scheduler & Coordinator
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity at the Department of State! The Project Scheduler & Coordinator works in the Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure we manage the operations and complete required deliverables to support the customer’s mission to provide IT services to DoS users enterprise-wide.
Responsibilities
- Provide a variety of multi-disciplined management services to support the overall program, various customer Portfolio and associated Product Teams.
- Provide, maintain, and support common tools and processes that enable the Government to track and manage individual projects.
- Employ comprehensive management functions to ensure a systematic approach to IT project management, coordinating with assigned Government representatives for project execution and documentation.
- Develop and maintain the integrated master schedule for all operational elements of this effort.
- Establish and maintain structured processes to engage with Product Teams throughout the entire product life cycle from initial planning through deployment and ongoing support, ensuring early and continuous Enterprise Operations involvement.
- Facilitate regular collaboration sessions between Enterprise Operations and Product Teams to align operational requirements, deployment timelines, and priorities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
- Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- CAPM or PMP certification.
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.

- Sitting for long periods.
- Standing for long periods.
- Ambulate throughout an office and between several buildings.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
- Repeatedly lift and carry weight up to 40 pounds.
- Travel by land or air transportation (25% of the time).
