Deploy Automation Engineer – Junior

About the role

Deploy Automation Engineer will support the setup, maintenance, and ongoing development of continuous build and integration infrastructure. This position will focus on CI/CD automation, Linux operations, deployment scripting, and troubleshooting throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support the setup, maintenance, and enhancement of continuous build and integration infrastructure.
• Create and maintain automated CI build processes across multiple Linux environments.
• Develop and update build and deployment scripts.
• Support CI/CD tool integration, operations, maintenance, and change management activities.
• Assist with automation of CI and testing processes.
• Support the development and implementation of CI/CD policies, standards, guidelines, and governance.
• Assist with onboarding and supporting developers in source control, build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, and deployment processes.
• Support the movement of code from Development and Test through Staging and Production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered throughout the CI/CD pipeline.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience with Red Hat Ansible
• 1+ year of experience with Jenkins
• 1+ year of experience with Linux Operations
• CMS experience is preferred

• Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Federal Public Trust clearance.
• Must have established residency in the United States for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
