Department of Medicine Senior Investigator
Responsibilities
Developing a funded clinical or basic research program.
Strong and/or developing record of peer-reviewed publications demonstrating research productivity and the ability to obtain extramural funding support.
Involvement in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Participation in other academic activities.
Requirements
MD, PhD, or MD/PhD degree.
Applicants with a clinical component should hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Illinois and possess either an MD or MD/PhD degree and board certification.
Qualifications
Strong record of peer-reviewed publications.
Ability to obtain extramural funding support.
Experience in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Academic involvement in other areas.
