Starting pay rate: $32.08 – $48.12 per hour. Actual pay will vary based on candidate’s location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
About the role
As a Nike Department Manager (Coach), you’re the face of NIKE. You’ll lead a high-volume, fast-paced team that delivers exceptional customer service and embodies the belief that if you have a body, you are an athlete. Your passion for sport and customer service will guide customers in making the best decisions while fostering a culture of inclusion, fun, and community. You’ll train and inspire your team to create positive moments, drive store growth, and build community partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team to ensure seamless store operations, including staffing, training, and day-to-day management.
- Attract, assess, and onboard new team members to maintain optimal store staffing.
- Equip employees with the tools and resources needed to succeed in their roles.
- Drive store performance by managing critical metrics, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, and people leadership.
- Oversee the product life cycle, from stockroom to visual merchandising and sales floor.
Requirements
- Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
- One year of leadership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Proven ability to utilize tools for conflict resolution, employee coaching, and counseling.
- Willingness to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.

Schedule
