Department Manager - Nike Jersey Gardens

About the role

This position is a Department Manager role at a Nike Factory Store located in Jersey Gardens, Elizabeth, NJ. The starting pay rate is between $32.08 and $48.12 per hour, with actual pay varying based on location, qualifications, skills, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to ensure all store functions run smoothly.
• Achieve and manage store performance and critical metrics, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, and people leadership.
• Recruit, assess, and onboard new team members.
• Equip store employees with necessary tools for success.
• Manage the product life cycle from stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor.

Requirements

• Three years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
• A year of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
• Ability to perform tasks such as bending, squatting, reaching, climbing a ladder, and standing for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Proven ability to resolve conflicts and coach employees.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $32.08 to $48.12. Actual pay rate will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills, and experience.

Schedule

This is a Full-Time position with 34-40 hours per week, including nights and weekends.
