About the role
The role is for a Manager at a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. This franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is responsible for employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
- Manage assigned Systems, such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
- Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
- Ensure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience.
- Manage Sales Promotions effectively.
- Train Service Staff in service procedures.
- Organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.
- Ensure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers, maintains food safety, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff in production procedures.
- Hire, train, and schedule qualified crew members to meet sales and profit goals.
- Support Crew in getting off to a good start and recognizing and motivating them throughout their time working there.
Requirements
- Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with flexible schedules and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants.
